Connecting Your LPG Bull BBQ to the Gas Bottle

Your grill with come with the following:

Underneath the grill you will see the internal regulator (A) with a pipe on the RHS going off to the grill and an outlet for the gas hose on the LHS (B) with a black rubber bung, which you need to remove.

Assemble the regulator kit:

Attach the brass connectors to one end of the hose as above and the clip-on patio gas regulator* to the other and secure with the jubilee clips.  (You may have to soften the hose in a cup of hot water first).
*This is the recommendation, if you are using a screw on regulator or Flo Gas you may need other fitments.
Remove the black rubber bung and screw on the brass connector

Important – contrary to the usual rule of “tighty righty and loosey lefty” this needs to be turned LEFT to secure!
The instructions in the Bull manual provided are very thorough and they give general install details across all variations. Please note that the sentences about flexible SS hoses are only for NG (natural gas installs).
If you have LPG these do not apply to you.
An NG install will require a certified gas engineer.
The first time you go to use your BBQ and indeed every time you start it DO NOT put all the burners on full power and ignite. Light one at a time. The regulator acts much like a fuse, and a huge gas surge may blow it, it will then go in to safety mode and never get up to optimum temperature.
