Design Service & Design Ideas

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

(STANDARD)

The first step is to understand your needs and desires. We seek to appreciate how you will use your outdoor kitchen, what type of dishes you enjoy or would wish to serve, and this will help to decide the list of components and products you will need to complete your project. Your outdoor kitchen may be one element of a wider garden and landscape design, should you wish.

(STANDARD FOR BESPOKE KITCHENS)

Having understood your needs, and gained an insight into your preferred style and  materials, and after viewing the layout of your  garden, we will create a 2D computer aided design. This will allow us to establish a list of materials and provide provisional cost estimates.

DESIGN

VISUALISATION

(FEE INCURRED)

As a final stage of the design process, we can, if wanted, move to a 3D visualisation of the design. This is an incredibly lifelike tour of the final project outcome. It allows you to see the design as it would appear in your actual garden including materials and scale, so enabling you to see what you’ll get, and of course to tweak and amend the plan until perfect, before a block is laid, or a hole dug.

WORKTOPS & FINISHES

Choosing a worktop can be a difficult decision as there is such a vast array of options available, from granite, natural slate, porcelain tiles, to glass and Dekton.  So it is very much up to your own individual style and requirements.  To make your life a little easier we suggest that you first start with your preferred material and then pick your colour, not forgetting the surface feel. Do you prefer a rustic, textured finish, or something smooth like an internal kitchen surface?  All our suggested materials are weatherproof, heat and frost stable, UV resistant and non-porous (if sealed) so that your outdoor kitchen will last for years to come.

It is important to make sure that your kitchen blends in with both your garden and the style of your house. With that in mind, we can recommend an extensive range of fascia materials from tiles and stone to render, which will create the perfect look and finish for your outdoor kitchen.
