Grill Guru Medium Cast Iron Grid

The Grill Guru Medium Cast Iron Grid is a round, 40 cm cast iron cooking grate that fits the Medium size Grill Guru kamado models. It has a dark finish, with parallel bars split into two halves by a bar across the middle.

According to Grill Guru, cast iron holds heat more steadily than stainless steel and conducts it better. That makes it well suited to grilling and helps give food clear sear marks.

This grid doesn't go on the plate setter frame. It rests directly on the kamado's fire ring, which puts your food nearer the coals. You can use it in place of the standard stainless steel grill rack.
